5 Ways to DOUBLE the Response of Your Advertising!

Personally, I rarely pay for advertising. I don't have to.
But whenever I pay for an ad, I make every advertising
dollar count. You can, too. Here's how...

1. KEY YOUR ADS: Keying is the only way to know where your
response is coming from when you advertise the same offer in
more than one place. For offline ads, this is easy. All you
have to do is use a unique department number in the address
or a unique extension with an 800 number.

For online ads, you can use a key in your URL to track ad
response on your server logs. You can do this by adding a
"?" followed by a unique number on the end of your URL in
each ad.

For instance, instead of www.yourdomain.com, you could use
www.yourdomain.com/?101. Anyone who clicks on your link will
go to the same page regardless of what number you use after
the "?" in your URL. However, your server logs will show how
many hits went to ?101, ?102, etc. This methods works, and
it's FREE!

2. TRACK YOUR ADS: Keying your ads will enable you to track
the response of every ad that you place. TRACKING your ads
is the only way to measure the profitability of each ad.

NOTE: For tracking online ads, you can use a service like
HyperTracker.com. This service isn't free, but they offer a
free trial.

3. Test, Test, TEST your ads: You can make an unprofitable
ad profitable or increase the profitability of an ad that's
already profitable by testing various elements of your ads
to see what generates the best response. The most important
element of an ad is the headline. Other elements include the
body, the guarantee, the reply vehicle, bonuses, and special
discounts (if any). TIP: You can only test ONE element at a
time!

4. Use VOICE MAIL and 800 NUMBERS in offline ads: You can
use inexpensive voice mail and 800 numbers instead of an
address with classified ads in the print media. This can
more than DOUBLE the number of leads an ad generates while
reducing the cost of the ad!

5. Offer a GREAT Guarantee: Guarantees increase
advertising response by reducing perceived risk. TIP: Make
your guarantee as liberal as possible. A weak guarantee is
just as legally binding as a strong guarantee - which one do
you think will generate more orders?

Any ONE of the above actions can double (or better) the
response of your advertising - imagine what all FIVE of them
could do! But what if you could promote your offer without
paying for advertising? Would you be interested?

There are still some good advertising deals out there,
especially on the Internet. But even so, the truth is that
no matter what you do, it will become harder and harder to
make a profit from a paid ad. I found this out the hard way
in my offline business - as advertising rates continued to
rise, my bottom line continued to shrink! The same thing
will happen with online advertising. It's only a matter of
